1. Introduction

When merchant wants to retrieve a transaction for their end customer, for example when merchant want to check the details of the transaction done by the customer along with its status, merchant needs to use retrieve transaction API. Merchant can retrieve the terminal status of the transaction by requesting retrieve transaction API to BillDesk.

To reconcile any transaction or to manage internal workflows at their end, merchant needs to know the status of the transaction, thus BillDesk has provided the retrieve transaction API.
